It's Market Day! A beautiful one too!
Mama slips gingerly down the driveway and onto the dewy road with a load that threatens to topple over at every turn...it never does. It was my turn to stay home that morning. I was not really fully awake, but the morning was calling to me. I can't "get over" this time of day, as you have probably noticed.

There is a hymn that expresses my thoughts often at a moment like this.
Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day
